The first way is, the PS3 has been able to keep up to PS2 hardware sales, it has been able to keep up with PS1 hardware sales, so it isn't failing.

 

What?  Not it hasn't.  It's not even close.... what are you talking about.

PS3 is way behind PS2 even when you ignore the fact that the PS2 was much more staggered when it came to launches.
