It seems like people have taken great liberties as to what a JRPG is, I always figured it was basically a turn-based-style RPG made in Japan. I've always thought of strategy RPG's as a separate genre. But if we're including them, here is my list, which btw keep in mind I started gaming seriously in 2002:

3. Chrono Trigger
4. Golden Sun: The Lost Age
5. Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword
6. Pokemon Gold/Silver
7. FFTA2: Grimoire of the Rift
8. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
9. Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
10. Final Fantasy VI
