Notice that NOTHING is going on in the distance (lack KZ2 had ships flying with smoke trails, etc).
Notice the low poly gun model.
Notice the lack of cloth physics.
Notice less smoke columns in the scene.
Notice no dynamic light sources for enemy eyes (they are static lights...see no objects on enemy reflecting the light [1:14]).
Notice the lack of hit response animations.
Notice the lacking gun animations.
Notice the lacking physics based death animations.
Notice the lack of particle physics from bullet collisions (sparks bouncing off of the ground, etc).
Notice the lack of a physics based weather system effecting particles and cloth.
Notice the much less sophisticated A.I.
Now, that video was in pre-alpha phase. Killzone 2 had ALL those things, mentioned above, implemented in pre-alpha phase except the weather physics system.
BTW, I, also, doubt you will see 350 dynamic lights from the Cryengine 2. ;)
