MGS4 was what the industry calls the "eye-roller" of the year.It was mostly over the top pork in the budget with all the movies. The industry has moved away from CGI -cutscenes, so this was one of those "4 years too late" ideas, to flood the game with movie cutscenes. It would have been better for the story to be told during the actual gameplay. In the end, its what kept MGS4 from being recognized by many outside the immediate Metal Gear fanbase.
