lol they catered to no one. Thats how they defeated themselves. If there were more than 2 3rd party exclusives on the console that were worth a damn then maybe just maybe it would be doing better. No one bought the PS2 for Sony first party games, except maybe the GT crowd. History has taught us that first party games only won't save a console (just ask Nintendo a few years ago).

Guess what?  Sony made a machine that only the most hardcore segment of the video game world would buy.  That has nothing to do with 3rd parties.  Is that difficult for you to understand?
