There is no DS version, but honestly I don't think the game would be playable on DS unless it is REALLY gimped down or a completely new gameplay mechanics. Something for once i would say I wouldn't look forward to as the gameplay in monster hunter is already unique from anything else out there.
It may sell a lot, but I really don't think it would be a good title. There is always a chance it would be a good game, but as it is now <3. It would be really hard to compete against the others.
