G is usually an expansion of the monster hunter titles.....why would they announce a G when the first one isn't even out yet. There is no doubt in my mind a G will come out but usually thats about 5 - 8 months after the original portable games release.
It doesn't go Monster hunter -> Monster Portable G
It has gone like this for the last installment
Monster Hunter -> Monster hunter Portable -> Monster Hunter G > Monster Hunter Portable G
