Let's see it from the front, Diablerie!

Here's my PC (more pictures this time) from the other thread:

My messy desk, and the "beast" in all its glory. Yes, the 5.25" floppy drive is connected and working. It's a 2.4GHz 60nm Core 2 Duo with an nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX and an Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer. I have 3 x 500GB HDDs in it and 2GB of RAM. As I said before, it runs Crysis, but also ADoM, Prince of Persia, Commander Keen, Jazz Jackrabbit, Wacky Wheels, etc. The front panel can be configured to say "Hi" and "Lo".

The "beast" (actually, I call her Fastrand) before heading off to a LAN. Here you can see my excellent choice in chunky keyboard.

The innards! It's really tight in here. There's about 3-4mm between the cables and the CPU fan, and about 4cm of pure cabling between the back of the removable drive block and the power supply. There's cabling down the side, in the centimetre between the edge of the case and the edge of the removable drive block. There's a token cable tie on top of the drive block holding some doubled over ribbon cable from the 5.25" drive. There's half a PCB for a USB floppy drive controller "floating" below the DVD drive, and you can see the rest of the cabling and USB adapters to the left (cable tied!). On hot days, I just don't run it. It's all worth it for the classic look of the case :).

A close-up view of the innards.

Currently playing: Wii Fit / The Sims 3
