What is there to make sense of, you take a random sample of users a large number like a few thousand, ask them questions, and then compare... simple it... it's how stats are made, it's not like when they say "__% of people in the world eat meat" they didn't ask everyone in the world they asked a sample of people... how hard is that?

Because there is a difference between X% of Y owners game online and X% of online gamers use Y.
