obviously not.  on the one hand, you have a country that would enjoy a peaceful co-existance with its neighbours...and on the other...a terrorist organization that would like to see all the jews killed.

 

really, so the civilians Israel killed in Gaza were what victims of peace? according to the UN, Israel is an occupying force in both Gaza and the West Bank, i wasnt aware occupation was defined as peacefull co-existance now?

 

sadly groups like Hamas and Israels neighbours have made such a peaceful situation almost impossible.  israel had to occupy those lands...it was for its own protection.  just like when it took the sinai.  just like the golan heights.   its neighbours arent friendly.  you realize the lands were first taken by arab armies who didnt want to see a country of palestine or israel and then they were taken by israel?

 

i dont really think thats true, given that most of the people in Gaza and the West Bank are civilians and all, i really doubt they posed enough of a threat to Israel that occupation was the only way forward
