Well Sony tends to buy companies which they have already worked with, and companies that want to be bought to improve themselves. That makes:
- Media Molecule
- Slant Six
- High Impact Studios
- Relentless Software (Buzz!)
- ??
I always thought they would aquire Ready At Dawn and possibly Ninja Theory, but I guess their financials didn't allow that. Now that they are moving on I doubt Sony is still interested.
It's too late for Level 5, they've grown alot, but the biggest problem is they're making the most money from Nintendo platforms (DS!). They have not much to gain from being aquired by Sony.
