Maybe if the author had made this article two years ago when it was still clever it might be interesting but now it just looks like he's fishing for page hits.

 

 

Number 1 is the most important.  Now people who had PS2s and bought them for GTA 4 or Final Fantasy can just get a Xbox 360 for a lot less money.  And they can play on live with their Xbox friends if that's the kind they have.

Obviously, they could get the PS3 for those games as well, and if they have PS3 fiends that makes more sense.  But allowing people to move to the Xbox 360 and take the PS3's best exclusives and put them multiplat is absolutely huge.

If the PS3 didn't lose so many exclusives, it would have the generally regarded best library right now.  But as it is, the Xbox 360 seems to still be regarded as having the best library.  And Final Fantasy 13 won't give Sony any edge since the 360 will be getting the same game.
