I can't judge the games since I have never played neither one. But from the positive talk I had with Darc Requiem and mrstickball. Both users told me the game is worth the admission and worth checking out. They are both $30 at Gamestop so your not getting beat by the $60 price tag.
On which is better, well the game reviewers accused of The Last Remnant on plague graphics, lock up, glitches and such. And Infinite Undiscovery is kinda sort of like Star Ocean 4 but miles away from the success of Star Ocean 4. I would put The Last Remnant ahead of Infinite Undiscovery if you can look past the faults that reviewers are so proclaiming and if your willing to try a brand new battle system.
