No More Heroes would have done better. Why? Because it is a mature-themed game with a lot of gunplay and a cute chick. Just look at recent sales of Yakuza 3 in Japan in one week. They are pretty much equal to NMH's worldwide even though NMH was one of the most praised games of the last year Nintendo fans wouldn't buy it.

Both Okami and Zack and Wiki would have been hard to sell on any console because Okami is highly artistic and Zack and Wiki looks very kiddy and most fans of old graphic adventures, like myself, probably don't know what it is or probably think it's a platformer knock off of Jak and Daxter which is what I thought it was until I read that it was a graphic adventure.

But NMH had pop culture sensibilities and if it had been on 360, then we'd probably be reading about how the movie version directed by Quentin Tarantino would be getting ready to come out this Summer.

Interesting.  A lot of gunplay?  I thought that it was a lot of sword play.  Hmmm.

Tarantino would not direct a movie based on a video game that is influenced by his movies.  He leaves that to people like Uwe Boll.

Believe it or not I almost changed to Uwe Boll.  But, really, he seems to mainly direct horror movies and not pulp fiction type films.  And one can be hopeful if not Tarantino himself then maybe Rodriguez or at least somebody that works for Troublemaker Studios.

Heavens to Murgatoids.
