Same as PS3, JP = 00, US = 01, AU/NZ = 02, UK = 03, EMEA = 04 etc etc. That's not really relevant here, FCC is a US agency, so all models submitted to them will be US region. Previous model submitted to FCC was "PSP-3001", this new one is "PSP-3001 B".
I don't really have much interest in PSP, was looking for 45nm PS3 (not submitted yet) and came across this new PSP submission. Just posted for those who have an interest in PSP hardware.
