This article is so wrong it is funny. Sony don`t release new games of their old franchises because most of them are dead. Most of their IPs suck. It was much easier to release lackluster games (and sell a lot) when they were on top. Now they must spend much more time and money to make sure these IPs are quality stuff. Even so, their best games are still second rate stuff compared to Nintendo third rate IPs.
