That and the fact the PS3 is far from failure. It has actually sold more than the 360 in less time. The 360 has just been out longer so it has a higher total sold.

While you may be right in theory you are as wrong as hell in reality.  360 was released a year earlier but in that one year its sales were seriously held back by the fact many potential buyers were holding out for the new Playstation.  However, when it released for $600 many of those potential buyers disappeared.  Since the PS3 released 360 has sold more than it and it looks like the gap is only going to get bigger rather than smaller.

Someone else finally gets what I've been saying and you try to shoot them down.  It's not a theory, it's the truth.  If you want to go into held back sales and that nonsense then let's bring the Wii into the picture.  It was released around the same time as the PS3.  So I bet PS3 sales were held back.  And you would say that 360 sales were held back even more (both true).

I'm going to copy and paste this from another post of mine.

year 1             year 2             year 3             year 4

PS3: 5,856,110     16,871,475      20,809,951 (current year)

360: 5,895,015     13,631,951      23,279,252    28,913,386 (current year)

OMG! darendt was rigth!

I feel like I'm on this huge Sony love train the past day or so.  And I like it.  I don't hate the 360 or it's fanboys.  I'm not trying to say that the PS3 is better than the 360.  I'm not going to bash the 360 and say it's going to fail.
