Now your just trying to justify the trojan horse method for blue ray. Its been said that blue ray in no way improves the gameplay etc, all it does is add more space. While more space does add more detail etc, it adds it onto a single disc. Really whats the problem with mulitple discs? Countless classic games have been multiple discs. Many times they complain of space, if they cant fit the game onto a 50 g disc, they need to learn to compress the space or whatever its called. Look what can be held onto a single disc, mass effect. So yes if they compress it or whatever, it would take a few discs, big whoop in my eyes. Also your right better quality, 6 hours of gameplay from HS proves they use that Blue ray to its full potentional Ck, i agree that more space is a good thing, i just think we didnt need it this gen because of how expensive it is, and the fact we have a format war, and lets say hd dvd wins, what happens to the ps3 (i think its just a stupid move by sony, sorry but its my opinion) |
How does adding more detail and quality to audio and/or adding more levels not improve gameplay? More space means more room to add stuff to the game. It's a fact, I don't need to justify anything. Since they are going to put it on multiple disks, they will still have to lose quality somewhere, because some of those details are part of the whole game. Unless they do an installation of the game on the 360 hard drive, but then there are 360s with no hard drives...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
