When I was starting out in the Web design business in 2001, having a Web site was seen as a nice plus but nothing essential so many of the companies we approached to design their web sites would say:
- "We'd really like you to do our Web site but I wasn't willing to spend much more than $150 and my girlfriend's brother likes computers and he said he could do our site"
And most of the time, the end result would look a lot like Yvette's site.
