It is one account per user not console.
I don't trust Sony either... they launched HOME and are trying to make a brand out of PSN all of a sudden...
They want their partners to think that it as a bigger value than XBL. I understand the reaction of MS folks.
At least, XBL has a financial model from the start (with the MS point/money and gold subscriptions) while PSN is more about potential than long term results...
