1) I just noticed the tearing running the game in 1080i, changed to 720p and haven't had any since.

4) Now THIS is what i don't believe. I'm halfway through the game and she almost never takes the stuff i don't unless i ask her to or try to leave the place without picking it up. Also, she mostly heals me when my life is REALLY low, or hers for that matter. My only gripe with her is that if she gets her hands on a handgun or a machine gun she gets a bit trigger-happy and goes through bullets like fucking chewing gum so i just gave her the shotgun and a rifle and i sold her handgun and SMG.

As for point #2, how big is your TV? I'm running the cutscenes on a 42" 1080p Sony Bravia. And it is clearly running 2:35:1 aspect ratio.

What you mean is probably the "Smart" aspect ratio setting on Bravias, and no i don't have this as the selected one. It just says "Widescreen" :P
