The 360 is no more of a software beast than the PS3 or the Wii. On all three systems games sell at about 1 game per console per two-and-a-bit months.

(Which suggests that collectively our game-buying habits are more governed by our disposable income than by game or console quality - and also that for any console there are more games that we want than we can afford - on average).

The 360's software 'lead' is an illusion caused by the fact it has been out longer, and one that occasionaly gets recycled by the Microsoft Marketing Dept.
