Dont know bout RRod's but a friend of mine bought one 3 months ago and it stopped reading gamediscs after 2 months. (the sucker hasn't used his warranty yet) Don't know if this is a recurring problem but just thought i should let you know.
Otherwise, gamecatalogue is making it hard for me to decide where to put my money.
