2007 superior. 2008 inferior. (Can't wait for the new transformers movie).
Anyway, 2008 was just another year, I bet you could probably list more AAA titles in 2001 then this year (2008), or 2004 as well.
Just because a lot of good games come out, doesn't mean it's anything to celebrate, it just means that developers still have a inch of originality in them (or they're very good at re-packaging).
