Ironically I dont think that the Cell is the limiting factor people think it to be. It may actually be viable to just have the PS4 with a dual Cell solution.

The PS3's main problem is the memory structure and GPU solution.

Its introduces a tremendous bottleneck and in a time critical device like a Video Game Console bottlenecks equal very bad idea.

Go for the unified memory like MS did this gen and let the developers decide how they want to use it.

Also a thumper of a GPU. You can never have to many shaders.
