Fable II features lesbians, yes truly. As you meet and interact with other characters you can look at their profile to glean more about them and the profile will state straight, bi, lesbian, gay. Granted lesbians are fairly rare by comparison to gay men and certainly straight people, but hey, they're there! The downside to the lesbians in Fable II is you cannot have protected sex with another woman, thus leading to STD's (Sexually Transmitted Diseases).  This seems fairly silly and does take away from the experience slightly, but thumbs up to Molyneux for actually realizing lesbians exist and including them in game. Another slight negative is although you can marry a woman, she may well refer to you as handsome during sex talk, which is a bit of a worry other than for the butchest of the butch.

Overall Fable II - despite the mutli-player debacle – is a wonderful fairy tale of a game and one you should most definitely own if you have an Xbox 360. Albion is a truly magical land where you can roam and be good, evil or something in between. You can marry, buy real estate, businesses, do odd jobs, small quests, great quests and best of all, be a lesbian in a game and marry a woman, ahh if only it were this simple in California eh?

That wasn't the whole quote.  I added in the part you skipped, and bolded it.

I think it's hilarious that they left in the "handsome" terminology, reinforcing the idea that even if a relationship is between 2 people of the same sex, one must of a masculine/handsome gender, or at least a handsome/butch demeanor.

I also love their The L Word rating system.

Fable 2 got this:
