Because 350K first day in Japan isn't all that good. That leads to a 450K to 500K first week. Which leads to about 1 million lifetime Japan at best. MHF2 sold more than 700K first week and isn't even going to hit 2 million worldwide. I'm actually being generous here. Sadly, PSP games sell like shit, especially outside of Japan. I don't think they would really use CC:FFVII to judge the worldwide popularity of the game though, so don't worry. |
Yes, i hope they wouldnt, they should know we have been getting some pretty shitty ff 7 spin offs, and well this is actually the first good one it seems, so everyone is reluctant to buy it after the other ones, that and i bet only a % of owners own a psp, and if it sells 2+ million WW SE will see a profit involved with the ps3 one, because it wont be as expensive as a new IP with the story kinda set in place etc
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.
Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
