To generate hype, to get things going and see how many people, and how big, a remake of ff 7 would be. 2. To really announce that a FF 7 is being released, and its just a great way to announce it early, or late. 3. To toy with the fans, just to make humor, but again, see how much hype it builds. Again like you said, we will have to wait and see. Also isnt this a secret ending, so you would think they would of added that this game is before the story of ff 7 at beg, on box etc, or at least in the normal ending |
Well, I really hope they aren't using Crisis Core to judge how much FFVII as a remake could sell, because if they are I can almost guarantee you it won't happen. Crisis Core is looking like it will rest at 2.5 million lifetime at best on the PSP. If they were planning a PS3 remake (as the tech demo would apply) and they were basing it on the PSP game sales, the logical conclusion would be that it will sell signifficantly less on the PS3 as a remake. Still, there is always a chance, and hopefully they aren't using CC:FFVII as a test for interest in the remake.
