I don't think they see it that way, unless Sony and/or Microsoft were helping to bankroll the launch party
They might show off more about Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2, but they see their Resident Evil brand as solid, and clearly don't feel that the brand is inherently tied to any platform (founded on PlayStation and Saturn, then PS only, then a spinoff on Dreamcast, new entries on GameCube which were turned over to PS2, a spinoff on Wii and a new PS360 entry), they could see it more as a promotion for RE than caring about any sort of loyalty to PS3 or 360.
