How could you find Bruce Wayne boring? :P

I partially agree with you on the boring characters, I did not like Rachael at all, but apart from that they were all 'ok' to brilliant for me.

I don't know! I didn't find him boring in the least in Batman Begins, and as an actor, I never usually find Christian Bale boring. Just look at his peformances in American Psycho or The Machinist. I just didn't empathise with his character at all in TDK, and to be honest, he seemed very wooden for large parts of the fim.

Any man with eraserhead as their avatar is a trusted opinion on movies.

It's nice to know that should my arguments prove lacking, my Avatar will convince and convert people instead!

Are you a big Lynch fan or just Eraserhead?

ON TOPIC: Another (highly spurious) reason for my preference of Watchmen over TDK: When I go to the cinema I usually go on a Saturday night. Most Sunday mornings I play Squash. I don't think it can be a coincidence that the Sunday after watching TDK my squash skills were mediocre at best, but after watching Watchmen, I was so inspired suring this morning's squash I kicked *ss!

Blue Velvet is one of my favorite movies, Lost Highway, Twin Peaks, love em all. Christan Bale was amazing in The Machinist but Bruce Wayne is usually a very drab, boring, sophisticated person so there isn't much acting appeal in that role which is why he was upstaged by the Joker. Is it just me or is The Machinist somewhat David Lynchesque?
