The battle system and item creation are definitely the best parts of the game. Some of the cutscenes are indeed long, but you can skip them and it will tell you want happened. The world landscapes are large (Roak in particular), sometimes you'll need to backtrack quite a ways and find yourself hammering the dash button. The dialog and voice acting is hit-and-miss. Even though the majority of what RPG Gamer said is true, the game is still very much enjoyable so I feel it's closer to 8/10 than 5/10.
