Proto looks like GTA + Ninja gaiden + the hulk. inFAMOUS looks like Gears/uncharted + Starwars TFU, and assassins creed.
No the guy in proto cant climb. Just run up walls.
To me they look completely different. One you use strategy and calculate how you want to do something with different choices.The other you run it and kill everyone.
