Now first of all I mean the JRPG style. JRPGs have been rather stale over the last few years with few exceptions i.e. Persona, TWEWY, and could do with some innovation. Japanese developers are being schooled by their western counter parts this generation and I would find it interesting if they decided to jump into this genre. Sales figures are pretty poor for JRPGs so I guess this could be a barrier - but seriously what if?
