I am a fan of the Virtua Fighter series, back to when I saw the original Virtual Fighter it in the arcade (in all its unshaded polygon glory). I thought the easy to use controls and ringouts were a great change from the usual (and I particularly enjoyed the ringouts).
Well, when discussing fighting games, people talk about how Virtual Fighter is a a REALLY DEEP figthing game. This is said of the games in the series generally. I don't see how it is deeper than other fighters though, eventhough I like it.
So, can someone explain how it is really deep?
