Maybe those people really had no problems with the controls, and would not have thought that anyone would find adapting to acceleration and inertia impossible. I am one of those, and I would call it amazement rather than denial.
Viceversa still saying that those (in)famous video are the proof that people are having troubles because of the lag monster? That's denial of every comment, link, measure we went through in those threads.
Not double standards, just debating subjective opinions vs fact-checking.
