This probably sounds like old hat to some people but i have been playing Animal crossing since December the whateverth. (Can't remember the PAL release date). Haven't messed about with the date whatsoever, despite the temptation. Have been waiting with zen-like patience for the rain. Finally today i can report it rained for the 1st time. So it's coelacanth time. Time for a late night fishing frenzy. Took a couple of hours for 1st coelacanth to appear but then another two came along quite quickly. At 15k a pop Tossy is so getting a windmill tomorrow once i've seen Nook. I know some might say stringfish are rarer but i had no problem catching a few in the winter months. Am reminiscing now to Gamecube days when i would empty my pockets of everything but a fishing rod and have a late night fishing frenzy, ending up with pockets full of Coelacanths, red snappers and barred knifejaws. It even got to the stage where i had to start releasing a few snappers. I think my record haul for 1 nights work was over 120k at Nooks the next morning. Might go for the record tonight!
