I don't think we should give up on 2009 just yet, but we'll see at E3/GDC. I'm almost certain it will make it to Japan in 2009, but hopefully it can come to the West, too. |
If the game isn't ready for release before October this year, then I hope it doesn't come until Summer 2010 at the earliest.
A game like ICO/Shadow of the Colossus would get overlooked in Japan if it was released between Oct '09 and Mar '10 due to the fact that Final Fantasy XIII and Gran Turismo 5 are both getting released during this period.
Besides, Sony could use some heavy hitters for the second half of 2010. Resistance 3, MotorStorm 3, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII won't be able to hold the second part of the year by themselves.
