I'd have to agree with J man. I own prett much every console ever made besides the PS3, and I hve to say I have more fun with the DS than any of the others.
I enjoyed my PS2, but not nearly as much as the SNES, the Dreamcast, the X360 and certainly not as much as the DS.
I still think the PS2's huge sales were thanks in large part to people having to buy so many replacement systems out of warranty. I went through 4 myself before just giving up. The PS2 was the reason I stopped gaming until the Wii was released.
