The real reasons why SEGA failed
- They lost Working Designs (went to Sony) and Sonic Software Planning aka Camelot Software Planning (went to Nintendo). They helped to offset Sqaure. SEGA went the Arcade at home route and lost the niche crowd. They relied too heavily on their internal studios to produce the hits. Which is kind of what Sony is doing now. Their relationship with 3rd party devs went to shit.
- Dreamcast was bootleg heaven.
