Why are people so threatened by the Wii?

If you just spent $600 on a PS3 because you'd rather have a console with some horsepower... and then you find out that this puny little Wii with "last-gen" graphics and selling for half as much is kicking ass and taking names, while the PS3 has had a not-so-incredible launch... yeah, I can see why you'd be upset. When people spend that much money on something, some of them need to feel justified. Ever listen to someone go on and on and on about a nice car that they own, putting down other cars in the same class? Same thing.

 

Or maybe some people just like the PS3 better? Ever thought of that? Happens you know, different tastes for different people.
