Ahh, back finally. I quite enjoyed it, actually. Honest fan criticism from someone who haven't gotten all swept up in the "Nintendo has abandoned us" funfest
The only problem with the seal of quality thing is that despite the fact that it looks like Nintendo should have the kind of leverage to be imposing, they know that a lot of 3rd parties are looking (and have used) any excuse to not develop on the platform. A lot of 3rd parties are grudgingly stepping forward now, but if Nintendo has a backlash, the good support will disappear along with the bad support that Nintendo was trying to focus on.
