I have to agree. I am stuck with Hughesnet where I live as my only real broadband option and tech support is in India.
The comments about getting someone with an Indian accent were not racist at all. If you have ever had to deal with someone who doesn't speak English as their primary language, then you would understand.
It's not just the accent that is hard to understand, it's getting these people to understand what you are trying to say. They don't understand the nuances of our language anymore than we understand theirs. If you tell them anything other than "I have RRoD" or something like that that they can see on their screen, they say "Yes, ok." and you hear them clacking away on their keyboard. Then they put you on hold, come back a minute later and try to get you to do something that has absolutely ZERO to do with the issue at hand!
In the end, the Playtation 3 will win.
