How I loved Test Drive Unlimited for the X360. One of the most underrated games in the library. Will we ever get another open-world racer that is THAT massive, and based on real-world data? I know there's a new one coming out that's offroad, which looks great, but after playing TDU, I clamor for a big, open-world racer again. I love that about NFS:MW, as well.

If you can find a copy, it should be rather cheap. The game debuted at $39.99 in 2006, which was a fantastic value for what it is.

What made the game so great was the fact that it used an actual real-world model of Hawaii's island of Oahu. Although some of the roads vary from the real life version, the fact is the entire island is to scale.

The coolest thing is the around-the-island race. You must complete the highway that encircles the entire island - over 120 miles to scale. Took me around 45 minutes to do it. It was incredibly fun.

The game isn't perfect, but I'd say that it's quite fun for an arcade-style racer. Good graphics, lots of cars (125), and so on. Not many car modifications like an NFS or GT/Forza game, but it's still quite fun for a value buy.

OMG i did want to get this game when it came out...but i totally forgot about it! TY! prolly will get it this weekend
