Colour me impressed by the graphics. However, graphics have been the least of my complaints about the last few NFS titles.
The gameplay has just gotten so clunky and uninspired in the last few titles. I've only liked NFS: HP2, NFS: Underground and NFS: MW in "recent" (used very very very loosely) years. I'm hoping EA realizes this (they seem to be doing a real turnaround lately) and puts all the criticism to good use in this game. It doesn't have to be realistic or sim-like. It just has to be fun to play. Just look at the Midnight Club series. Not realistic in any way imaginable, but it's friggen fun to play. What made those NFS titles fun to play were the cops AI, the good handling and the plethora of modes/gametypes to keep things fresh.
So far so good EA, now get me a demo and blow me away with gameplay. :)
