All the new consoles have parental locks don't they? While I agree that the retailer should probably have checked an ID, parents can still prevent the kids from playing it.
In my opinion, this is the realm of the parent, not the retailer or publisher. Ratings are provided for parents to make informed decisions. As a parent, you should be monitoring what your child does at all times, because, you know, you are a parent...
Saying that, I think this guy is despicable for using his kid as a pawn in his games.
