They were anti-exclusive because it made them more money, in this instance it makes sense to cater to the huge american install base with as little overhead as possible. I know EA does have experience developing for ps3, yet they have hedged against possible losses in the U.S. market by making this exclusive to the 360. In other words the opportunity cost to develop it for both HD consoles was not their, especially since their last to "hits" didn't hit as hard as they wanted, not to mention the economic milieu. This is something new to people who believe that business is neutral, but as soon as it makes more money, sides will be taken ;-} To look at it from another perspective, would EA be more likely to develop a the World Cup Tourney for the ps3 or 360?
