I eat maybe 70% vegan stuff now, and outside of that I eat tons of cheese and burritos and pizzas. And I haven't used a microwave since December 2007, which is a big step up from my old diet. I used to microwave SCRAMBLED EGGS. Yeah, it's possible.
If you have any problems with diversity of your new vegan diet, I recommend using the power of the internet, or I can ask my wife, who's been vegan for over 5 years by now. There is way more vegan food out there than you have ever imagined. She learned how to make Ethiopian food and vegan pizzas within the last year, and they're both amazing. There's even a video on YubeTube of David Lynch teaching you how to cook quinoa.
