My fav moments
- Baldur's gate 2. seriously the peak of PC Rpg gaming where it was focused on Role-playing and story. (the game is still in a class of its own today).
- First multiplayer game in doom. playing coop and deathmatch doom in 1994, having an insane amount of fun and just knowing it was the future, which came quickly with quakeworld in 1996-98. Consoles got their first major taste with halo really.
- Diablo 2 patch 1.10+ Hell skill level with hardcore characters in coop. Most crazy crazy coop fun!
- WoW. before BC and before WoTLK, back when guilds were in blue gear that had no special bonuses beyond standard stat increases (no +damage, no +crit). walking into molten core for the first time with 39 other players and nailing the a couple of bosses on the first night. while the grind afterwards sucked, that first run was nothing short of awesome.
