Halo 3 selling 3 million in 12 days. That sounds about right. I don't think it beats Halo 2's one day sales record of 2.4 million because of the smaller userbase, but something like 2 million first day sales could happen, and another million in the next week and a half is very doable.
360 400k for September. In five weeks it sure could but it's very unlikely it matches Wii or DS hardware numbers for the month. I expect both Nintendo systems to sell about 50k to 100k more than the 360.
PS2 price cut, it should happen by years end. That will keep PS2 hardware sales at high levels. Sony needs something good to talk about for the holiday sales. PSP should get a bump from the redesign, but with a cut I think the PS2 will be the most successful Sony system, possibly at about 360 levels this holidays.
