Jagged, you mean Forge, or is Foundary something new they are coming out with? Latest thing I know is that the new expansion they are coming out with will have a much more extensive map editor. They are also adding a Griffball arena to that map.
My mentioning about Griffball touched on two parts to Halo that have made it the top FPS on consoles. One of them is the Red vs Blue and culture it built around the game. This culture is so extensive, it led to the whole 7-11 and Mountain Dew promotions. Secondarily is the community working with Forge creating all these new game modes for the game. Griffball is an example of how much Halo 3 has gone from its original design.
So, I was saying, for a console FPS to be a "Halo Killer" and supplant Halo as king, it would have to do both. Griffball is just a prime example of this.
